Jessica Lantz CPA, CGA
Before starting CID Bookkeeping, Jessica worked as a manager at BOO Canada in the Outsourcing Bookkeeping department. In this role, Jessica was responsible for managing 17 staff members and over 250 clients. She headed up large projects including 150 page training manual and program, setting up the guidelines for the onboarding department on a national level, and managing many large client migrations that included: customized reporting, training in-hone staff, and inventory that included expiry dates.
Now Jessica owns CID Bookkeeping Inc and is focusing on building a successful and meaningful practice that helps local business grow and thrive.
In her spare time, Jessica spends time with her husband Ben and their daughters April and Sophia on their 9.5 acre property. This includes a mini orchard with 25 fruit trees, a creek, a large vegetable garden, chickens and Guinea hens. Jessica and Ben have two wonderful dogs Tillie and Cooper who enjoy running around the property and exploring.
Ruchi Joshi
Ruchi graduated with an engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication and worked in IT and Software for a while. After immigrating to Canada she realized that she wanted to try something new! She worked over a year in the financial services field before moving over to CID Bookkeeping and joining Jessica in her ever so infectious entrepreneurial spirit.
She has a penchant for numbers and strives for structured decision making. She gets involved in Accounts payable/receivables, account reconciliations and the whole nine yards of the fun bookkeeping world.
She is a movie-buff and thrillers are her staples. The likes of Anthony Hopkins especially are in her fondest collection!! She lives in the quaint town of Ajax with her husband Tushar. Ruchi is a cat lover and volunteers at the local cat-shelters often.
Kristin Gast
Kristin attended Loyalist College where she obtained both a Business Administration Diploma and an Accounting Diploma. She was going to specialize in Human Resources or Operations Management but decided that it would be more beneficial to also obtain an Accounting Diploma so she would be able to help in most aspects of running a business.
After graduation, she utilized her skills working for an RV Company in Port Hope, Ontario. He position included both Office Administration and Bookkeeping duties. Ever one to expand her skills, she enjoyed the opportunity of being responsible to train new employees, handle RV rental transactions and assist the parts and service department with sales, warranty and service.
Kristin grew up and lives in the beautiful hamlet of Grafton, Ontario with her husband and son. In her spare time she loves to garden and grow her own food in the summer months, and during the cooler months she loves to keep busy with arts and crafts.
